Power Transmission Tower  A  transmission tower  or  power tower  (alternatively  electricity pylon  or variations) is a tall  structure , usually, a steel  lattice tower  used to support an  overhead power line . Power transmission tower consists of the following parts:- 1) The peak of the transmission tower  2) Cross arm of transmission tower  3) The boom of transmission tower  4) Cage of transmission tower  5) Transmission Tower Body  6) Leg of transmission tower  7) Stub/Anchor Bolt and Baseplate assembly of a transmission tower.  The main parts of these are shown in the pictures. HVDC Transmission Definition : High voltage direct current (HVDC) control frameworks use D.C. for transmission of mass control over long separations. For long-separate power transmission, HVDC lines are more affordable, and misfortunes are less when contrasted with AC transmission.
